This Tart dress has to be one of my favorite maxi dresses that I own. I can wear it strapless, halter, with or without sleeveless, and many other ways. I purchased this dress at the Tart Outlet and it was totally worth the $50 because I get so many different outfits out of it. When shopping for basic pieces in your closet, I recommend finding clothing that is versatile and you are able to get many uses out of it. Finding a necklace, shirt, or accessory that is reversible is an added bonus to your closet and your wallet.

These T-Strap heels are to die for! I would love to own my very own Valentino Rockstud some day, but for right now these will definitely do. I don’t mind splurging every so often on designer handbags, but shoes are the accessory that ends up in the trash. It’s incredibly hard to maintain a designer pair in good shape. Handbags on the other hand are easier to take care and still holds its value.
I purchased these shoes in nude, hot pink, black ad cheetah print! I am obsessed with the bright hot pink because it just takes your outfit to the next level. Adding these t-straps to my navy blue jumpsuit gives it a little pop to my OOTD!

Summer is almost coming to an end…and I am still wearing WHITE! Even though many might not call white a color, it is one of my favorite shades to be wearing in the summertime. Not only does it highlight your summer glow, but it goes with everything and looks great when strolling down the beach. I have a feeling that I will still be wearing a lot of white in the fall to keep my figure looking tan!

This is one of my favorite summer dresses that I own in my closet. Interesting to say that this dress is actually a skirt that my mother purchased for me for my first day of 8th grade. I loved wearing it as a skirt, but then I got tired of it and was about to give it away to GoodWill. I loved the color and the intricate beading along the top and the bottom of the skirt that I started to get creative with it. I decided to start wearing this skirt as a dress and I love it even more.
So before you decide to throw out a piece from your closet, take a second and think if there are other ways of wearing the garment. Maybe pairing it with something different, cutting it, adding on to it, or turning it inside out will help you discover something fabulous.

One of my favorite cities in California will always be San Diego. San Diego is a beautiful beach city that has a lot to do and a lot to offer. Coronado Island is always a must when visiting San Diego. It is a small town with gorgeous historical views. When visiting the beaches in San Diego, I like to wear a breezy maxi dress. Maxi dresses are perfect when you are by the beach because most of the time it will be a little colder on the coast. I purchased this kimono dress from Zara because it’s light, classy and totally different. This year kimonos have been very popular as a cover-up, however, I have not seen many kimono dresses. Hopefully the fashion world will be able to see more of kimono dresses because I am totally in LOVE!
